I wanted to share my journey and aspirations as I seek the honor of serving as your next District Court Judge. For years, I have dedicated myself to the practice of law as a trial lawyer at McKeon Law, a role that has shaped my understanding of justice and the immense responsibility that comes with upholding it.

Your vote for me is a vote for a justice system in Butte that upholds the highest standards of integrity and dedication. Together, we can ensure that our legal system is a reflection of the values we cherish in our community.

My Values

Restoring dignity and justice to those I serve

In my professional career, I have tirelessly represented those impacted by the negligence and wrong doings of others. My areas of expertise are broad and significant, encompassing workplace accidents, personal injuries, insurance disputes, products liability, medical malpractice, and malicious prosecution. My approach is not just about legal representation; it is about restoring dignity and justice to those I serve.

Maintaining the integrity of our legal system

My commitment to the law is not just a profession, but a calling. I have worked relentlessly, with a dogged determination and a tireless work ethic, to ensure that each client receives the justice they deserve. This approach to my work is not just about winning cases; it is about maintaining the integrity of our legal system and the trust you place in it.

Staying focused and impartial

As a potential District Court Judge, I bring this same level of commitment and dedication. The role of a judge is pivotal – it requires an unwavering sense of duty, an ability to delve into complex legal issues, and the patience to listen and understand every aspect of a case. My years of experience in the challenging environment of trial law have honed these skills, teaching me the importance of detailed legal analysis and the necessity of staying focused and impartial.

Fair, efficient, and respectful

In our community, the role of a District Court Judge goes beyond the courtroom. It is about building a justice system that you can trust – one that is fair, efficient, and respectful. My promise to you is that I will bring the same relentless dedication to this role that I have brought to my practice. Every case, every individual, and every decision will be treated with the respect and attention it deserves.

Leadership and Recognition

I am admitted to practice in both the Montana and U.S. District Courts of Montana. My commitment to my craft and my clients is further evidenced by my participation in the State Bar of Montana, the Montana Trial Lawyers Association, and the National Trial Lawyers Association. My leadership and dedication to the legal community are clear in my role on the Board of Directors for the Montana Trial Lawyers Association.

My legal prowess has earned me the recognition and respect of my peers. My skills and dedication have not gone unnoticed. The National Trial Lawyers Association has twice honored me, recognizing me as both a Top 40 Under 40 Trial Lawyer and a Top 100 Trial Lawyer. Recently, the community voted me Butte-Silver Bow’s 2023 Best Attorney in the Montana Standard’s annual Best of Butte and Beyond. These accolades speak to my exceptional skill and commitment to my clients and the field of law.

Dedication to Butte

Now, as a candidate for Butte District Court Judge, I bring my comprehensive legal experience, my deep understanding of community needs, and my commitment to fairness and justice to the forefront. My career is a testament to my dedication to the people of Butte, and I stand ready to serve with integrity, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to the principles of justice.

Butte is not just where I work; it is my home. It is where I have grown up witnessing firsthand the strength, resilience, and integrity of the people of Butte. These are the values that have guided me in my legal career and these are the values I intend to bring to the bench.

I am asking for your support in this election.

Let’s work together to maintain a fair, just, and efficient legal system in Butte.
